Slippers, Coffee, and Roommate love.

I got back from class today and realized as I was about to arrive home mind you, that I had forgotten to buy my Mother a birthday card so instead of parking at my residence made my way to Target and browsed a little instead of heading straight to the card section. I remembered last year that I had bought these delightfully cozy slippers for 12 bucks and LOVED them so I headed in the shoe direction and found that they had them again! I was jazzed. I searched the sizes because sometimes it's hard to find mine.. I'm a 9.5/10, big foot I know. I found a pair and also purchased a pair for my roomie because I knew she'd love them as well, (we always love the same things, we are essentially the same person). She was still in class when I got home so I tossed them on her bed and when she came home she adored them just the way I wanted her to! As I made my way downstairs after taking my nap I put my slippers on and brought my homework with and brewed a pot of coffee and sat watching the Giants game, then my roomie came down slippers on, homework in hand just like me and had some coffee too, (I brewed it for her cause I'm such a motherly person :)) and we sat together chatting, facebooking, watching the game, and doing the occasional homework. It's time like these I love the winter weather. :)

Hello world...

Well I am officially a blogger! Eeeek! I am super obsessed with writing my thoughts, typical girl I know but what can I say? :) I feel like I have so much to say that the thoughts are all jumbled inside my head. I decided with the suggestion of my roommate to make my first blog about introducing myself so here it goes: my name is Kelly and I am turning 21 for the third time, yes I refuse to get older, I attend Sac State and am a Liberal Studies major, I have another year left of school and can't wait to finish although everyone tells me to enjoy it while I can.

I have to say although I have gone through much, I completely LOVE my life and am thankful everyday that I am living the one I am. I believe the struggles you go through make you stronger and appreciate the good all around you whether it be good or small. You'll read more about these tough times and good things in my life when I have more time to write and haven't had three glasses of wine. ;)

Have a joyous night all!
